Adaptive Yoga – Five-Week Pilot Session Instructed by Courtney Way of YogAbilitiesYYC.

This program is accessible to everyone and considers all bodies and abilities, especially those with injury, disability, limitations, or who are elderly. Participants will learn modified/multiple variations of traditional yoga poses, allowing the poses to be adapted to specific needs and abilities. Class is based on the needs of the participants and will include music to de-stress and promote relaxation, yoga/stretches to improve flexibility and build strength, and movement/dance with breathing to improve concentration and coordination. This Pilot Session is free of charge. Participants are asked to register for the full session. Participants must sign a YogAbilitiesYYC Waiver and Media Release and will be asked to complete a Survey following the session.
