Free Intimate Music Concert with Lewis Frere featuring our Music Discovery Class on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, from 1:15pm-2:15pm at the Hope Community Covenant Church followed by snacks and refreshments.

Lewis developed a love for old-time rock, country and classic rock as music was always present in the Frere household. At the age of 15 Lewis began playing in his family’s band.
In 1994, Lewis enrolled at Rosebud School of the Arts, where he found ongoing outlets for performance including playing music around dinner tables and performing with groups such as the Rosebud River Valley Boys, Lewis & Royal, and the Badland Boars. He continues to tour with Lewis & Royal and perform with his family-based party band to this day.
Over the years Lewis learned to love the Acoustic Guitar fingerpicking style to accompany his soft rich vocals. “The Golden Throat” became his nickname from his bandmates.
