Chantal Chagnon with Cree8 will facilitate an outdoor drumming circle at Kinsmen Park on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, from 1:15-2:15pm.

Chantal Chagnon is a Cree / Métis Singer, Drummer, and Workshop Facilitator. She shares Traditional Indigenous Songs, Stories, Culture, History, Arts, Indigenous Craftsmanship and Teachings. Chantal aims to entertain, engage, enlighten, educate, inspire, empower, and create bridges of opportunity for cooperation, understanding, and healing for our past and future generations.

Chantal recognizes sharing culture and building community is an integral part of building bridges of understanding and acceptance. She will bring drums which she has made and there will be more than enough for everyone. She shares the teachings of the animals and how the drums are made.
