DESCRIPTION:Sidney May Weich is a Calgary-based singer/songwriter captivating audiences across Western Canada. Sidney’s heartfelt performances echo the sincerity of her lyrics. A proud participant in the Canadian Songwriter Challenge\, Sidney’s accolades include winning the 2nd annual Anza Showcase in Vancouver\, being part of the YYC Airport music program\, to performing several times at the Calgary Blue Jay Sessions. But her most honest accomplishment is her ability to lay her life bare in her songwriting. Sidney’s 2022 single\, “Back to It\,” captures the shared experience of loneliness during the pandemic. And the release of “Heart On The Market\,” continues to offer an intimate peek into her own experiences\, proving that vulnerability is the best verse.
