Description

Music Discovery is designed to encourage social interaction, connection, and community while having fun and making music together. Instruction will focus on music knowledge and developing skills through singing, movement, and instrumental play. Participants will have an opportunity to explore a variety of instruments including drums and percussion.

Every Tuesday from 1:15pm – 2:15pm Hope Community Covenant Church (245 Brent Boulevard, Strathmore) with Kate Ager, accredited music therapist.

Hope Bridges Society is delighted to provide participants with the use of beautiful drums that possess great tone and depth of sound. These drums were purchased through the Elmer and Ralphene Bolinger Music Therapy Fund, managed by Project Hope. We are grateful to Project Hope for facilitating this purchase. Elmer and Ralphene Bolinger were Sheila Konschuh’s parents (and Rachel’s grandparents).
