Music Discovery

The Music Discovery program provides barrier-free access to an unparalleled program that is designed to encourage social interaction, connection, and community while making music. Instruction focuses on music knowledge and developing skills through singing, movement, and instrumental play, including drums, tone chimes and percussion. Music Discovery participants, in addition to weekly classes, attend and perform in our Community Concert Music Series.

Community Concert Music Series

Community Concert Music Series is an opportunity for participants to experience, see, hear, interact, and connect with local musicians and to share their music in a safe and celebratory community setting. The Community Concert Music Series is free and open to the public with no prior reservations required.

Way2Move Adaptive Sports & Wellness

Way2 Move is a comprehensive adaptive sports and wellness program, offering a range of activities designed to improve mobility, coordination and pursue an active lifestyle for adults with disabilities. The program includes, but is not limited to Zumba, Pickleball, Floor Hockey, Soccer, and Basketball.
Way2Move Founders, Courtney Campbell (YogAbilitiesYYC) and John Clubb (Soccability Canada), are driven by a shared vision to offer adaptive sport and movement opportunities to all. They recognize the power of sport, movement and inclusion as a key driver to maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle and believe everyone deserves the opportunity to stay active, healthy, and connected.

Time: Weekly, Thursdays from 1:15pm – 2:15pm

Adaptive Yoga

With, certified Yoga Instructor Courtney Way, participants will learn modified/multiple variations of traditional yoga poses, allowing the poses to be adapted to specific needs and abilities. Class is based on the needs of the participants and will include music to de-stress and promote relaxation, yoga/stretches to improve flexibility and build strength, and movement/dance with breathing to improve concentration and coordination.

Time: Bi-weekly, Wednesdays from 10:30am – 11:30am

Moving & Grooving

Moving and Grooving participants gather to explore expressive movement while connecting deeper with themselves and each other. Class is focused on how movement feels in our bodies and connects with our emotions, rather than ‘looking good’ or ‘getting it right’. Participants explore movement with various props, exercise prompts, and qualities of movement – encouraging cooperation, self-awareness, and physical literacy. Moving and Grooving gives participants an opportunity to explore movement from a fun, creative, and expressive place.

Make & Mingle (Arts/Crafts)

The Make & Mingle (arts and crafts) program offers activities that are flexible and inclusive, allowing everyone to participate, grow, and create personal projects in a supportive space. The Make and Mingle program is a monthly, in-person program for adults to learn new skills, and share their passion for crafting. The program provides a meaningful outlet for self-expression, communication, emotional healing, and personal growth and empowerment. Engaging in creative activities can support personal development, enhance emotional well-being, and foster opportunities for meaningful social connections. We look forward to welcoming you to a morning of creativity, connection, and community!
